About the Stone

Mariam Jasper is a veined chert from Morocco. Fractures in the stone healed with a paler mineral, and the polished surface reads like writing in an unknown hand — which is where Script Stone and Calligraphy Stone come from, and why ancient knowledge is its teaching. Read the other way, the creased surface is the elephant's skin.
